NATIONAL 50TH CELEBRATION
RALEIGH GRADUATE CHAPTER 30TH ANNIVERSARY  


Fifty years ago on April 4, 1969, twelve dynamic young women “dared to be different” and founded SwingPhiSwing Social Fellowship Inc.®️ on the campus of WSSU as the sister organization to GroovePhiGroove SFI®️.
This year, a monument was erected on the campus to mark the location where the idea was born.

Please join us in wishing a Happy 50th Anniversary to our Founders, Sisters Jeanette Butler, Anita Chase Watson, Beverly Dorn-Steele, Finesia Dunovant Walker, Jane Harris Madison, Rosiland “Roz” Marshall Tandy, Marilyn Reid Hill, Patricia Story Edwards, Ellen Tomlinson Carter, Brenda L Travers Satterfield, Lorraine Watkins Phillips, and Talma Woods Brayboy, for launching thousands into a lifetime of Sisterhood and Service as Sisters With Interest Never Gone, Promoting Higher Intelligence, Supporting Women In Need of Growth.
